ABOUT CARRIE MILLER

I was introduced to the world of photography in high school through a yearbook class. During this time, a spark was ignited, and while I have always enjoyed photography, what really fueled the flame was being introduced to the work of Chris Orwig.  I picked up his book The Creative Fight and realized that photography could be so much more individualized than I originally thought.

My approach to photography is based on my desire to transform moments into meaningful images for my clients.  Whether it is capturing a potter at their wheel, a special gleam in someone's eye, or a spunky older gentleman jumping on a couch... I want to freeze those moments in time to be enjoyed and remembered.

My current body of work focuses on professional headshots and branding work for commercial clients in the Denver area.  In the future, I look forward to partnering with non-profit organizations to produce meaningful images.
